Correct timings in the waveform editor, choose the cue level, and download a clean SubRip subtitle file.
Line timing gives you readable subtitle cues and the least editing overhead. Phrase timing splits long lines into smaller beats. Word timing creates one cue per word when the design needs individual control.
The timing level is chosen at export, so one alignment can produce several versions without running the song again.
SRT is the safe default for Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, YouTube and most caption tools. It stores cue text with start and end times, which makes it portable but deliberately light on styling.
After Effects does not natively turn an SRT into editable text layers. If that is your destination, read the guide to importing SRT and timed lyrics into After Effects or use LyriSync's dedicated panel and JSX export.
Automatic alignment removes the blank-page work, but it does not lock you into the first result. The editor keeps the mix, isolated vocal, lyrics and word boundaries together so you can listen and adjust before creating the SRT.
Not reliably. SRT stores timed cues but has no standard progressive word-highlight syntax. Use ASS or enhanced LRC when the destination supports it.
